The wait for Swim is finally over!!

The wait for Swim is finally over!! So, where did we leave off on this year’s POPFLEX swim drama? Right right, the part where my photo samples went MISSING in Memphis and I had to cancel our photoshoot. Models were been booked, flights purchased, photographers hired. So many meticulously planned details and moving parts just… poof! Cancelled because of one package. But the worst part was that the location we reserved would not give us a credit for the space and I had to pay thousands in fees. That’s when I filmed a video to fill you in on everything holding back this year’s swim launch. For weeks after that, the package was just stuck. I thought it was gone forever until one day… it showed up! Except… There was another problem Like HOWWWW was this happening after we already dealt with incorrect elastic on another swim bottom aka Sausagegate? WHY?! This was the point when Sam and I wondered if we should just give up on swim this year. I was EXHAUSTED. But that would mean 1.5 years of development would go to waste. The design team had already poured everything into this collection. I couldn’t just let that go. I asked you for time And your support was everything. Your willingness to wait was the final push I needed to work out the details and get it right. Over the past month, I nearly lost my mind catching issues and redoing pieces until the fit was perfect. Which brings us to today, and I finally have some good news. POPFLEX Swim is HERE! This year we have 15 silhouettes to choose from and I truly believe there is something for everyone. SHOP SWIM The swim “skanty” is alive! We brought back some faves like the Crisscross Hourglass Cheeky Bottoms and the Swim Romper, but I’m most excited for the unique styles this year. We added the most stunning drapey Tankini, a Swim Dress, AND  swim skort that I’m calling a Skanty because it has built-in bottoms. I’m wearing it with the Beach Day Bandeau which has an adjustable corset back (obsessed) and removable halter (OBSESSED)! SHOP SWIM Every single piece is giving mermaid goddess. I didn’t know it was THIS BAD. TBH when you guys asked me to design a swim skort I was like no bc I’d never worn one ever in my life. But then I was like hm…how CAN one make a swim skort cute?? Full disclosure though I am a cheeky bikini girly so you normally wouldn’t catch me in a swim skort. BUT If you were to catch me in one, it would be inspired by the look of a sarong. I added a knot, a stretchy scrunch, an an asymmetrical waist to sarongify. And then I added what sarongs don’t have – a built-in bikini bottom. Here’s the final look! I took all your feedback from our first swim drop last year, meshed it with new ideas (and more cup sizes), and guys, our 2024 POPFLEX Swim Collection is our mermaidiest dreamiest drop yet! As always – these pieces aren’t just for sitting pretty, they’re made for play! Silhouettes for ALL bodies For 2024, we have 16 silhouettes: Some that we loved last year (with a few improvements!) plus brand new designs. The goal? Create a silhouette for every body type, more cup sizes than EVER, and coverage options for every comfort level. WE ARE NOT DREADING SWIMSUIT SHOPPING EVER AGAIN, OKAY?! THE SWIM SHOP Choose your cheekiness! Different bodies and comfort levels require OPTIONS. So I designed five bikini bottoms with different rises, cuts, and cheek coverage. Here they are, in order from most to least cheeky: Sunshine Scoop Ultra Cheeky Low Tide Super Cheeky Crisscross Hourglass Cheeky High Tide Cheeky Sand Dollar Surf Shorts   When you shop, look for this guide in the product description to see how the bottom is cut to sit on your waist, hips, and booty. BUT I also added a mid-coverage option in black if you’re looking for something with MORE coverage than the original. SHOP ONE PIECE SWIMSUITS The bikini tops You asked for more cup sizes, so that was at the top of the list when the design team and I went to the drawing board for Swim 2024. We set out to include up to G-cup and I have to say, it was not easy. BUT WE DID IT. The Boardwalk Bombshell Bikini Top and Boardwalk Bombshell One Piece are available in cup sizes A-G and all of the tops range from sizes XXS to 3X. Which style are you loving? Super feminine Bombshell, the mermaid-like Siren Sweetheart, the timeless Coastline Cap Sleeve, or classic Sandbar Strapless? SHOP BIKINI TOPS The Reef Romper Ummmmmm HOWWWWW are we currently living in a Sabrina Carpenter me espresso moment when I designed this vintage 50’s inspired swim piece over a year ago!?!? I don’t follow trend reports or anything…just my heart (no really) so this is a complete surprise! First of all LOVE our lil polly pocket singer, second of all, when you guys asked for coverage – I was on it immediately. But I didn’t wanna do diaper frump town USA coverage ya know? I wanted something classy, something feminine, something exactly like what eventually became the Reef Romper you see here! The fabric is so smooth and soft…there are pockets…there’s adjustability and snatchability…it’s lined bc no one wants a see thru swimsuit…and guys, I say coverage while still looking cute has been officially accomplished.
