And normally I wouldn’t make an entire video about socks, but given the fact that my background is Pilates… grip socks are kinda my jam. And I will not stand for thin, floppy grip socks. Everyone’s sharing their wins, so here are my recent flops Hey guys! Everyone’s sharing their wins sooo… let’s talk flops. I’d like to believe that these things happen in order to redirect me. This made me think deeply about what defines the Popflex brand and who our customer really is. Unfortunately I’ve always been and still am very critical of myself. A simple question was asked that triggered a sadness deep within me and I couldn’t hold back my tears. I hate that I cried but I think I hate more that I felt ashamed of it afterwards. I don’t like being told what I can or can’t do. But the truth is, the limit has to exist in order for this business to exist. Just reaching a “sweet spot” where we’re not small enough that no one cares and not big enough that everyone’s scared. Ugh. I can’t even begin to explain how low I felt after this. All I wanted was to genuinely connect with people who understood what I was going through. Growing a business can feel really lonely and depleting already but as a super empath, sometimes the feeling is unbearable. I wanted community. Friends even. When I got the rejection email, it felt like someone was breaking up with me without giving a reason why. Was I not good enough? Did I do something wrong? Please someone tell me something. But no, they wouldn’t tell me anything. It made me feel like I wasn’t worthy of being in their presence, like it was high school all over again and they saw me as some wannabe trying to join their popular group. I hate that a part of me is still very damaged over this. But I’ll get over it. It’s just gonna take time. Let’s be real. Wasting food is the biggest flop of all.   Hey guys! Guess what’s back?! Did we finally hit the crop top limit? After years of tops getting shorter while pants get higher, there is simply nowhere higher for our tops to go. SO I’m calling it now: Tank tops are back.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Cassey Ho (@blogilates) The history of the tank Did you know the tank top originally started as a swimming tank for women in the early 1900s? It didn’t become a shirt you actually wear outside, not just as an undershirt, until the 1950s! Then, the 90s brought a massive wave of minimalism and a huuuge tank top upgrade. Annnd who here remembers tank over tank over tank of the 2000s. Yeah, tank tops just kept getting longer and we wore them with super low-rise jeans, until the 2010s when we started doing the total opposite. We went from peplums to crops. All of this to say… the fashion pendulum is constantly swinging, and in 2026 the tank top is finally back back! The Popflex Twisty Top GO WITH THE FLOW TWISTY TOP I’ve been fighting for my life for sooo long to design a tank top that looks cool. I loved the asymmetrical, Greek Goddess vibe, so I decided to take that and… Popflexify it. I’m wearing the Popflex Twisty Top and I’m not saying this top is revolutionary but omg it makes my life sooo much easier! It has a built-in bra, and it would have been a whooole thing without one. And obvi I love the off the shoulder moment. I love the look of this with jeans orrr with matching Go With the Flow Pants if you love a set like I do! Ok so what do you think? Sooo are we gauchoing? This is a serious and very controversial topic, but we gotta talk about it. It began with hauntings from my past, all over the internet. I tried to ignore and hoped it would never get to this point. But it’s getting out of control, so I must ask… have you seen WIDE-LEGGED CAPRIS starting to trend?! Um. Gauchos. Easy, elevated, breathable. And most importantly, I suppose, it answers the question certain people keep asking so you’re welcome. Size one up for comfort as the 100% cotton is not pre-shrunk so I’m warning you now! SHOP SUNSHINE SET SHOP SUNSHINE SET I hope you’re happy with the features I included in this design, and as you know I’m always listening to feedback. But please remember not every design can be everything to everyone. If it is, well, it’s not. I can no longer strive to make everyone happy because in the end, I find myself unhappy. Design is art and art is personal and I create because I love to not because I’m forced to. Anyway, just know that if this one isn’t for you, something else might be. So please treat every design as a unique individual, not a full judgment of the entire brand I’ve been so careful to build with so much intention. My 4-Step No-Heat Beach Waves Routine Not my usual post but I HAVE TO SHARE an accidental discovery! I’m deffffffff no expert but I HAVE tried a lot of gels, mousses, curly hair methods, bowl methods etc with no success prob bc my naturally wavy hair is also super dry and porous. FINO hair mask – in the shower, after shampooing, rinse hair, squeeze out water and leave on mid-shaft to ends for 10 minutes, then rinse again. 2. Guy Tang #MyHero Nourishing Cream – dry hair, then put on from midshaft to ends! Also shoutout to Guy who is my long time friend and the most genius hair artist! He gave me that iconic balayage like over 10 years ago and still colors my hair to this day! 3. JVN Air Dry Volumizing Wave Spray – spray all over and use hands to scrunch up! Also shoutout to Jonathan who has been the sweetest, most hilarious new friend in my life! So happy Pilates brought us together! 4. Olaplex Bonding Oil – once hair has air dried a bit, scrunch on ends I’ll link it all in my stories! I guess the ocean did its job French Polynesia (specifically Moorea) will always always always have a special place in my heart because it’s where Sam and I celebrated our honeymoon, and that time remains in my memory as the most magical trip of our lives. We waited 5 years to return to this special island, and even though I wanted to go back much sooner, Sam was adamant about keeping that memory untouched and untarnished for as long as possible. I think we both did. I had been crying on the couch too much this year and letting difficult situations bleed into my well-being. Unfortunately, as someone who feels deeply, it is what it is. I think the universe knew I needed to heal and it gave me signs that left me in awe…signs Sam and I are still trying to decipher. On our way back to the States, a scary looking border patrol guard singled us out from a crowd. I was panicking. He said “do you know why I called you over?” We were like “oh no did we do something wrong??” He took his time answering which made me even more nervous. But then he said “out of all these people walking out who look miserable and tired, why are you two the only ones laughing and smiling? I just need to know.” With much relief, we all shared a laugh and told him we had just come from French Polynesia and that he should go sometime too! I guess the ocean did its job. Feeling so lucky. Can’t believe I saw this with my own eyes Feeling so so lucky.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Cassey Ho (@blogilates) I already had my camera out for the faint rainbow bc all rainbows, no matter the size, are very special to me. So when the rainbow got stronger and stronger until it became a fulllllll on arc I became so overjoyed my feet couldn’t stop clapping!! I had never seen anything like this in my life! And the fact that it was right in front of our room, on the same, very special resort we honeymooned on 5 years ago – Sam and I felt like it was a sign. I can’t tell you a sign of what just yet, but I CAN tell you this rainbow filled my body with so much pure happiness. I don’t think the vids and pics do this special moment any justice but I wanted to share this rainbow with you, so that you could feel a bit of this magic as well. Feeling so lucky.
