Meet V2 of the Blogilates Ballerina Dress V2 of the Blogilates Ballerina Dress was inspired by unsatisfied people. First, they didn’t like the neckline and said it was unflattering. Then, they said the straps were too skinny and supportive. Fine fine fine. Let’s make some changes for V2.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Cassey Ho (@blogilates) SHOP AT TARGET These were my must-keeps for V2 of the Ballerina Dress: – Twirlability and the tiered mesh skirt. – The built-in shorts with the anti-cameltoe front panel and DEEP pockets. – Stretchy fabric. – Adjustable straps. And this is what I changed: – I traded in the skinny straps for thicker straps. – I killed the wide, square neckline and added a sweetheart neckline that cinches in the center to give that leotard vibe. – I also added an inner shelf bra to help with the support aspect! SHOP BLOGILATES AT TARGET I was bummed you didn’t love V1 but you know what, I’ve been watching reviews and it seems like everyone who tried it on is pleased so your comments guided the right design direction! The Most Beautiful Thing I’ve Ever Seen Last weekend we hosted the first POPFLEX pop-up in YEARS! But first let’s backtrack to the star of the show, our first collection designed with a print in years. I had a feeling that prints were making a comeback to activewear, and decided to add  dainty floral print to some of our favorite designs. We called it… The Meadow Collection SHOP MEADOW   Feminine. Colorful. Inspired by wildflowers. And ummm do you see the ruffles on the Ruffle Bra?! Obsessed. The original plan was to release this collection like any other, but then Shopify reached out and asked if we wanted to team up to host a pop-up event at The Lighthouse! Meadow is stunning on these designs, but omg building an event around it was a literal DREAM. Here’s a little bts of setup and me seeing the space in person for the first time! I died when I saw it. I want to keep this in my house. As you can see below, the vibe was VIBING at the Meadow pop-up. We had a floral arranging class, snacks, photo ops (duh) and plenty of Meadow to shop. My favorite part though was seeing everyone wearing the collection! I was standing in a meadow of Meadow! You can wear it long or cinch the adjustable bungees on the sides for a cropped look! The structured neck is so regal and gives a higher end, elegant look to an otherwise very casual, sporty piece! But the key to how good it looks is… THE SHAPE. It’s an inverted triangle that tapers you in at the waist. NO FRUMP HERE. Some other things that make the half zip hoodie one of my faves: Cloud fabric Drop shoulder Blousy sleeves A HUGE double-lined hood A zippered pocket (no dropped phones!)   And yeah… I did fit my entire lunch in the kangaroo pocket.
