HBD to the LBD! 1926 LBD meet 2026 LBD Happy Hundred Years! I can’t believe it’s been a whole cEnTuRyyyy since the conception of the little black dress. Did you know that black dresses used to be reserved for house staff… or to indicate mourning? Like Queen Victoria famously wore black for the REST OF HER LIFE after her husband passed. And then came Chanel’s little black dress in 1926. Soon enough, women from all levels of society embraced the LBD. To celebrate 100 years, I think it’s time to make the LBD of active dresses.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Cassey Ho (@blogilates) Introducing the POPFLEX Skate the Day Away Dress and the Skate the Night Away Dress! Both versions of my LBD for activewear use soft, stretchy fabric. I wanted to have a wide, sweetheart neckline but DO NOT WORRY about the straps falling off your shoulders because they’re not gonna. There is an adjustable bowtie on the back to prevent slippage. Plus it looks cute! Obv I used a circle skirt with anti-cameltoe built-in shorts with pockets. SHOP DRESSES Skate the Day Away is short-sleeve and because I knew you were gonna ask for a long-sleeve version, which became the Skate the Night Away Dress. WE DID IT GUYS I didn’t know how to tell you this… so here it is. Blogilates apparel is back in Target! SHOP BLOGILATES AT TARGET The first time Blogilates launched apparel in Target, I had 6 weeks to prove myself. If my designs didn’t sell, that was it. At first, I was so overwhelmed with joy that my childhood dream (that no one thought I could achieve) was coming true. My designs were in Target nationwide! But that feeling soon faded. Reality set in and I suddenly became overwhelmed with doubt. What if you hated it? What if it flopped? This was a test to prove that my brand could sell. It felt like the alternative was total failure and shame. A little dramatic maybe, but you know what I mean. That day, I sat and scrolled and my entire FYP was you guys trying on Blogilates! I held my breath as I watched each one because reviews give me such anxiety. But then… I think you liked it! You started sending me photos from your local stores of EMPTY RACKS! Because of you, Blogilates is back in Target I want to be transparent and say that this announcement should be a celebratory moment but I’ve been really hesitant to share this news with you. Many of you have been asking if Blogilates was ever coming back to Target – some asking because they wanted to know if they could buy more… and others because they thought I was being kicked out. The good news is that the latter obviously didn’t happen, but that is THANKS TO YOU. Your support during my first drop was the PROVING I needed to do in that first 6-week test. YOU are the reason why this minority-owned, woman-owned brand gets to have another shot. This time around, you’ll find some returning designs, plus some new styles and colors that I hope you love as much as I do. And in my heart, I’ve always wanted to get into dresses and cute things you can wear to the special events and parties in your lives…so today I’m giddy to share with you my first ever performance party wear – I’m calling this category “Active Party.” I don’t know about you but when I’m on the dance floor I want to dance, get picked up, kick up my legs and not worry at all about my underwear showing! Adding a new active dress to the fam Hey guys! Please welcome to the fam, a third active dress! This time, she’s less princessy and more sporty, but still romantic and 100% twirlable! She’s the Matchpoint Zipper Dress and she comes in XXS-3X in 4 colors on POPFLEX. I’m wearing XS and I am 5’5”. It’s totally TTS.     View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Cassey Ho (@blogilates)   Shop Matchpoint Zipper Dress The zip adds a nice contrast to the dress while making it a bit easier to take this off to go to the restroom! I love the simplicity of a romper (aka an all-in-one outfit) so to me it’s worth the nakey in the bathroom situation. Personally, it doesn’t bother me, but if it bothers you, well – I think skorts and tops are your best bet for now until I figure out hygienic pee-thru fabric. If you already own the Twirl Dress, you’ll notice that this design has less of a circle skirt and more of a A-ish flared skirt. I love how the fabric just skims over my hips along with the contoured seams which really hip bring out my hourglass silhouette. You can wear this for anything honestly because it’s just so easy and comfy. To me, it’s a perfect dress for theme parks, workouts, errand-running, and lots of eating bc the fabric snatches and stretches in the best way Any fit questions? Ask me in the comments!   Hey guys!
