Meet V2 of the Blogilates Ballerina Dress V2 of the Blogilates Ballerina Dress was inspired by unsatisfied people. First, they didn’t like the neckline and said it was unflattering. Then, they said the straps were too skinny and supportive. Fine fine fine. Let’s make some changes for V2.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Cassey Ho (@blogilates) SHOP AT TARGET These were my must-keeps for V2 of the Ballerina Dress: – Twirlability and the tiered mesh skirt. – The built-in shorts with the anti-cameltoe front panel and DEEP pockets. – Stretchy fabric. – Adjustable straps. And this is what I changed: – I traded in the skinny straps for thicker straps. – I killed the wide, square neckline and added a sweetheart neckline that cinches in the center to give that leotard vibe. – I also added an inner shelf bra to help with the support aspect! I first sketched this design in 2023 so it’s taken over 2 YEARS for her to come alive but she’s worth the wait because the fit is SO GOOD! She’s the most comfortable, twirliest creation I’ve ever made. I seriously feel like a blossoming flower when I spin in her. The vision behind the Juliet Wrap Skort was a ballet skort for the girlies who didn’t grow up to be ballerinas… but still want to feel that one. I know I’m not the only one! I kind of have an obsession with ballet. It’s just so incredible to watch how STRONG ballerinas are, while also moving with such grace. I wanted this skort to move effortlessly so you can feel like a ballerina when you wear it. I designed the Juliet with layers of stretchy fabric, built-in anti-cameltoe shorts with pockets, and a big bow that is also adjustable! The way this skort wraps, ties, and flows is perfection.
