Back on My Upright for a Group Ride

I mentioned in my last post that I wanted to work up my stamina on my upright so I could take it on longer rides including group rides, and yesterday was my first test. It went fine, on a nice ride out to the end of Redwood retreat road and back. While I also enjoy riding my recumbent with the group, it is nice to have this option. Our ride leader, Kris, has mentioned we might do some rides further afield like starting in San Juan Bautista or Hollister, and since my recumbent is not transportable without considerable disassembly, the upright would be my only choice for those rides.
